About Us

Mechanicsburg Lumber Company manufactures lumber and cants with a band head rig and re-saw. The headrig is fed by a Morbark debarker.

Once the head rig sizes the log, the log is sent over to the Brewco run-around resaw for grade lumber and exact sizing of the cant

Cants are then assembled into mats. We manufacture mats either 8" or 12" thick up to 30' long. We mostly make an 8"x4'x18' mat with 4 1" bolts. These mats are used in the oil and gas industry to help protect the ground from all the heavy equipment.
